The energy of the black square

"What you ultimately discover is that there is a certain energy in the black square with its seven pieces - a force that goes beyond geometry and linear thinking. It is an energy that empowers you to exceed your present mental abilities and attain a higher level of vision."

I got a crush on a tangram puzzle at the neighborhood Red Cross. 40kr worth of graphics and intrigues. The possibilities for inspiration seem almost as manyfold as the amount of figures you can turn your seven pieces into.
(1.600 according to the accompanying booklet!)

The shapes also remind me of an old logo I was toying with for myself once upon a time, inspired by the origami shuriken. Funny.

What inspires you right now?

(The quote is from Tangram by Joost Elffers and Michael Schuyt.)
